Country Road Stables offers private and group riding lessons for children and adults on safe school horses matched to each rider’s ability. Whether you’re new to riding or just want to sharpen you skills, our professional trainers can design a riding program to help you achieve your goals. We take pride in teaching the correct fundamentals, providing a solid foundation on which to build. Riding lessons include professional instruction and use of Country Road Stables lesson horse and equipment, including approved riding helmets.
Our hand picked horses allow the opportunity for students looking to reach showing goals.
At Country Road Stables our goal is to provide an education for our clients in a fun and family atmosphere. Our program is based on safety first. Come and enjoy the relaxed and encouraging setting while you proceed into the world of horses.
We offer year round instruction for beginner through advanced riders.
We offer 15 minute lessons for children ages 3-5 years old and 30-60 minute lessons for 5 years old to adult students.
Included in our education here, we require students learn horsemanship. With this in mind they learn how to properly groom and tack up their horse.
We feel this is a good way to become familiar and comfortable working around horses. In every subsequent lesson the student is advised to come early and prepare the horse so they can start their lesson at the scheduled time.
Our instructors are always available to assist you when needed.
A minimum of 5 private half hour lessons are required before a student may ride in a group lesson. However, due to safety reasons this is just a guideline and it is at the instructors discretion. When the rider has accomplished certain goals he/she may advance to a group lesson. As with all sports, different people learn at different rates, and the more frequently you ride the faster you advance!
Lessons are taught 7 days per week. Time slots are held on a first come first serve basis. Students reserve the right to the same day and time each week,if desired. Failure to make your scheduled appointment two or more consecutive weeks may result in the loss of your preferred time.
